Dr. Yu Han specializes in the development and application of human-centered computational approaches to evaluate systemic risks of natural disasters and climate change. His research focuses on quantifying compound risks and resilience dynamics across urban and coastal regions. Through the integration of agent-based modeling, geospatial analysis, and open data and tools, his research aims to inform climate resilience policies and enhance the capacity of societies to cope with and recover from climate-induced disasters.
